Priory Wall Bridge

A footpath leads down towards the Broad Street car park from behind The Forbury Nursing Home. The wall to the west, at the bottom of the gardens of properties on Broad Street, is the precinct wall which separated the Priory grounds from the town. There is an electricity shed in a sunken area. This was the route of the River Pinsley. The wall here made an alcove over which was a small wooden footbridge. It also appears there was an entrance way through the wall here, a back way into the Priory grounds.
